First go at using a mesh! What do you think??? Made the label in illustrator and then placed into photoshop using a gradient mesh to mold around the bottle. Took the photo in my lounge room of a corona bottle.. Not really sure what I think at the moment as not used to doing these but feel free to add suggestions!

I think this is a really great photo, it really makes me thirsty!!
Nice work! the photographs is beautiful. My only note is that your light source is coming from your left, if I'm correct, and the label has a highlight on your right. Even for a reflected light, perhaps it would benefit from being a tad lighter.
On the plus side however, I love your label. i would definitely buy a beer to try - or two.

the reason for the od light source was i took the photo in my loungeroom with the sun setting through a clear bottle, and i'd made the lable in illustrator and used a gradient in the fill to make it look metallic, so when i pasted the illustrator file onto the psd file, thats where you get the wierd light source... too many late nights haha
I hear you! It should be easy enough to fix though, especially in Photoshop. I mean, come on. Apart from that, it looks great. Perhaps your best logo and label work from this gallery.
